My Story
Remember that familiar feeling? Staring at a blank page, the cursor blinking away, whilst brilliant ideas about your business swim in your mind but the perfect words to express them seem just out of reach.
I’ve been there too. That dreaded cursor used to paralyse me completely. My own journey with AI began just like that, looking for a way to reclaim my evenings from endless content creation and manual tasks, searching for a better approach to running my business.
What started as curiosity became expertise. I’ve now worked with 20+ established businesses, building AI systems that protect voice whilst reducing mental load. The pattern is consistent: when the foundations are right, AI becomes genuine support, not another thing to manage.
My path to working with AI has been anything but traditional. After twenty years of living internationally and thirteen enriching years in fundraising, where I mastered the art of connecting with people and creating efficient systems, I could have stuck with familiar ways of doing things. But in my mid-60s, when many settle into routines, I chose to embrace AI technology, learning, testing, and discovering how it could transform businesses for the better.
When I launched my business in 2017, I started working with women-led service businesses, first as a VA, now as an AI strategist. From this work, I’ve learned what makes AI implementation succeed or fail: strategy before technology, voice calibration before automation, and clear standards that AI can actually learn from.
One of my proudest moments came in 2025, when I won a Woman Who Solopreneur Award. It felt like recognition not just of my business, but of every client, collaborator and friend who’s shared this journey.

When I’m not creating AI solutions, you might find me quilting (every family member has one!), tending to my garden, or enjoying ballroom dancing with my husband. Some of my happiest moments are spent with my grandchildren, watching them discover the world.
